Every healthy branch has an Arborist.
A Branch Arborist is the caretaker and steward of a Surf-Connection branch. Rather than simply managing a website, an Arborist cultivates a welcoming place where people and ideas can flourish.
A Branch Arborist:
- Welcomes new travelers.
- Maintains the branch’s stories and resources.
- Curates photographs, videos, and historical archives.
- Keeps QR codes and
/go/pathways current. - Organizes events and announcements.
- Encourages meaningful participation.
- Preserves the branch’s history while pruning outdated content.
- Guides the branch using TurnerUX principles.
The goal isn’t to control the branch.
The goal is to help it grow.
