Surf-Connection
Where Community Returns to Conversation.

A private network of people who still believe the strongest communities are built the old-fashioned way — through trust, conversation, and looking out for one another.

Built in Huntington Beach.
Open to good people everywhere.

Founder’s Note

March 17th holds a Special Place in my Life and that of my Family.

Twenty years ago today, while working as a California Highway Patrol Motor Officer, I was involved in an on-duty emergency vehicle collision that ended my career and changed my family’s life forever.

It also happens to be my wedding anniversary.

Two events — one painful and one joyful — tied together on the same day.

Over time I came to realize something important:

The people who helped me through the hardest moments were not strangers on the internet. They were the people who knew me, who shared the road, who looked out for one another.

That realization eventually became Surf-Connection.

Surf-Connection is my way of rebuilding the kind of community many of us once had — where people know each other, help each other, and build something meaningful together.

Not through algorithms.

Through conversation.

 Built in Huntington Beach

Surf-Connection started right here in Huntington Beach in 1995.

It grew out of a simple idea:
The best communities are built locally first.

Surfers understand this instinctively.

You paddle out, you recognize familiar faces, you watch out for each other in the lineup, and over time those shared moments create a quiet kind of trust.

Surf-Connection works the same way.

It begins with small conversations, trusted introductions, and people who care about the place they live and the people around them.

From Huntington Beach, the idea branches outward — like a banyan tree — connecting people who share those same values wherever they may be.
