Subject: Letter to Prospective members
I hope this message finds you well. As I reflect on my years with the CHP, I realize how much I miss the camaraderie, the shared purpose, and the unspoken understanding we had as partners and friends. The moments spent on the beat, in the office, and during those long shifts created bonds that time and distance could never break.
In retirement their is a void in number, breadth and quality of the interpersonal relationships I honed in my adult career.
Here is where I bridge the gap to reconnect with my friends, co-workers, sports partners and recreational hounds. I hope you can seek, find and rekindle those memories, friendships and bond with your members too.
Safe Travels,
-Tim O’Toole

A Special Message from Timothy O’Toole, your Arbiter…
As a former California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer, Retired , I wore many ‘hats’ during my career. Two on my favorite positions was that of; ‘Occupational Safety Supervisor’ and the other Public Affairs Officer. In the latter position, from time to time, I would receive the sad news of the passing of a friend, colleague or someone in the extended family, the number of which grows with each passing of each new year.
This has always weighed on my mind and finally the opportunity to bring back some light on our memorable past which time and distance seems to dim. Time also accentuates losing track and nearly forgetting our family and friends. Myself and several friends have poured hours of time, sweat and tears into this project to make it as seamless and forgiving as possible without using any social media platforms. One of our biggest challenges was not using current ‘Social Media’ platforms which are ubiquitous and popular with most of you.
Our thought process is:
- Limited Access
- Code of Conduct
- On-going Improvements
