Subject: Reconnecting & Building Something Special – Join Me as a SquadClub Founder
Dear friends,
I hope this message finds you well. As I reflect on my years with the CHP, I realize how much I miss the camaraderie, the shared purpose, and the unspoken understanding we had as colleagues and friends. The moments spent on the beat, in the office, and during those long shifts created bonds that time and distance should never break.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally. I’m building SquadClub, a private community where we, as retired and former law enforcement professionals, can reconnect, share experiences, and continue supporting one another in this next phase of life.
This isn’t just another ‘social group’—it’s a transformational space designed to keep our squads together, provide resources, and create new opportunities for engagement, mentorship, and friendship.
I’d love for you to join me as a Founding Member. Your leadership, experience, and presence would help shape this community into something meaningful for all of us. Whether it’s sharing stories, offering guidance to younger officers, or simply having a place to belong again, SquadClub is about keeping our bond strong—just as it always was.

We’re Glad You’re here! So I’m just going to jump right on in.
Fast forward to 2025…
If given a choice, I feel people prefer interaction through direct, face to face, interpersonal communication. This is the most effective and preferred because both ‘Sender and the ‘Receiver’ can soak-up each other’s ‘non-verbal’ gestures and other elements present in the ‘Communication Channel.’ But as time marches on, we get older and technology grows exponentially, In person it is not always feasible. Even with the advent of modern technological advances I feel many of us are being left behind in the dust.
We can learn alot from our Gen-X’er generation too!

Social Media and AI Isn’t going to go away anytime soon and is just growing exponentially with the advent of A.I.! (Artificial Intelligence).
Each of Our Community’s aim is the same; to bridge the technological and generational communication divide. Act upon our ‘Calling’ for ‘Self-Care’ to strength to endure the ‘entrails’ our political system leaders have entrusted to us.
Central to all of this is Communication, Interpersonal, face to face, communication.
it is vital! Like fresh footprints on the sand at Dog Beach, one wave or ‘rush-up’ with the incoming high and the footprints fade into the past.
Well, that’s the premise for my ‘Self-Care’ in building communities in a nutshell!
Striving to keep ‘fighting the good fight,’ keeping relationships blossoming and the memories alive.
