If given a choice, I feel people prefer interaction through direct, face to face, interpersonal communication. This is the most effective and preferred because both ‘Sender’ and the ‘Receiver’ can soak-up each other’s ‘non-verbal’ gestures and other elements present in the ‘Communication Channel.’ But as time marches on, we get older and technology grows exponentially, in person it is not always feasible. Even with the advent of modern technological advances I feel many of us are being left behind in the dust.

This Fourth of July, as traffic backs up and CHP steps up enforcement, California drivers are feeling the pressure—again. The truth is, we’re all tired: of unsafe roads, gridlocked freeways, aggressive drivers, and policies that feel more confusing than helpful.
