WHY a Community?
The aspect that is really powerful, for me as a community builder, is being able to encourage members to fill in the ‘Back Story’ on something or someone while protected by the privacy afforded by membership of a gated, controlled access community.
For an Example…
We want you to share how you captured the shot in a photograph or a deployment experience you and some cohorts had! Maybe the subject in the photograph or story explained what they wanted you to capture or you were thinking of one thing and did something else out of necessity and framed the subject and viola it just appeared at the trigger moment. You just captured, ‘moment a time,’ your ‘stop-action’ photograph is exactly that, a Moment in Time!

The Back Story- I was sweating like a pig in the 101 degree West Sacramento afternoon sun after graduating CTC ll-90. This column of Chippy Vehicles on the E.V.O.C. track was barring down me behind the spectators’ bleachers which were blocking my shot of the ‘S’ curve portion of the EVOC track. There was a ‘K-rail’ jersey barrier in my way of getting to clear view for a decent shot!
Dam, Double Dam!

I side stepped the bleachers clearing my field of view. Knealt on down on one knee, deep breath while focusing the Mustang in the frame, slow exhale, hold, pulled the trigger, thumb winded two more shots.
