Surf-Connection is a small local clan of lads and lassies who give a shit and love this beach community. We create ‘off-line’ based community ‘Groups,’ ‘Spaces’ through engagement of ‘YOUR’ mission. Our specialty is bringing your Group or Space together by engaging discussions of members, live streams, chat, events, and membership drives– all in one place, all under your own brand or ours.
Artistic Expression: As both a surfer and an artist, Roxy Pinot’s designs are a canvas for her creative expression. Murals depicting waves crashing on the shore or abstract interpretations of surf culture grace the walls, infusing spaces with a sense of movement and vitality. Handcrafted textiles, ceramics, and locally sourced artisan pieces add a personal touch to each project, elevating the overall aesthetic and creating a truly immersive experience.
What is really powerful is being able to fill in the back story on a photo or video short. Do you have a ‘back story’ to share? Want to share how you captured the shot? Maybe the subject in the photograph explained what they wanted or you were thinking or doing something else and a frame/subject just appeared at the trigger moment. You captured, ‘moment in time’ created by your ‘stop-action’ photograph!
My favorite spot is the break at the HB Cliff’s know by locals as ‘Boxcar.’ It’s a funky kind of ‘mysto surf spot’ where the wave allows you to right both directions riding the same wave. The peak is shifty so you need to keep your head on a swivel or be dealt a ‘beat down’ by a ‘Set Wave.” It’s a hoot to surf most of the time when it was breaking if you don’t mind maneuvering abound a couple of lobster traps in the Line-Up!
