We’re Glad You’re here! So I’m just going to jump right on in.
Fast forward to 2025…
Given the choice, I believe most people still prefer face-to-face, interpersonal communication. It’s where the true richness of human connection lives—through tone of voice, eye contact, and body language, the “Sender” and the “Receiver” can fully engage, picking up on all the subtle, non-verbal cues that deepen understanding.
But as technology continues to evolve at lightning speed, that kind of interaction isn’t always possible—or preferred—especially between generations. The current 18-year-old generation has grown up communicating through screens, emojis, and quick messages, while many from the Boomer generation still value direct, in-person conversations. The result? Misunderstandings, disconnect, and a growing communication gap.
Even with all our modern tools, many of us—on both sides—feel left behind, unsure how to truly connect across the divide. And yet, the need to understand one another has never been greater.
My doctor thought it would be healthy for me in my retirement:)
